Develop control in making large movements like running and jumping and small movements like threading and mark making.

Recognising different emotions, making friends, sharing and taking turns as well as self-care such as eating healthily, using the toilet independently and being able to dress themselves.
Understanding The World

Learning about festivals, celebrations and special events. Finding out about the community where they live and developing an understanding of how and why things work.
Mathematics

Counting, recognising shapes and patterns, identifying numbers and simple comparisons of height and weight.
Literacy

Learning about rhymes, syllables, learning letter sounds.
Expressive Arts & Design

Developing imagination and creative skills by encouraging children to explore different materials, music and musical instruments and different role-play activities.
