We have excellent well-equipped indoor and outdoor play areas.
Indoor
Our village hall is large enough to accommodate a wide range of equipment and activities including:
- 'messy play' activities such as working with water, sand and paints;
- creative activities such as junk modelling;
- a home corner stimulating children's imaginations and engaging in role play with other children;
- a quiet area with beanbags and books.
Outdoor
We have a fantastic secure enclosed outdoor area for the children which includes:
- a climbing structure with slide;
- an area for riding bikes, cars and scooters;
- a playhouse which has changing themes (e.g. shop, garden centre, home);
- Large sand pit
- Large shingle pit
- Mud kitchen
- Water wall
- Music wall
- Digging/planting area
- a canopy so that we can use the area in all weathers;
- a grass area;
- an allotment with raised beds where the children can dig and plant;
- role play areas with kitchen, shop and garage;
- A large log cabin fully equipt for children that would like to play inside whilst we are in the outdoor area.
